Nail care
Most guys ignore their nails, but dirty, uneven nails make you look sloppy. Well-groomed hands show that you take care of yourself. Itβs a small detail that makes a big difference. If you don't have a manicure kit, I recommend you to get one. It is not very expensive, but essensial for nail care.
1. Keep Your Nails Short & Even
Trim your nails once a week using nail clippers. File rough edges so they donβt snag or look uneven. Keep nails short but not too short β a little white at the tip is fine.
β Avoid biting your nails β it makes them look bad and weakens them.
2. Clean Your Nails Daily
Scrub under your nails when you wash your hands. Use a nail brush or an old toothbrush to remove dirt. If your nails look dry, apply a tiny bit of lotion to keep them healthy.
β Never walk around with dirty fingernails. People notice.
3. Take Care of Your Cuticles
Push back cuticles gently after a shower (donβt cut them). Apply cuticle oil or hand cream if your skin looks dry.
β Avoid peeling or picking at them β it leads to painful hangnails.
4. Donβt Forget Your Toenails
Trim your toenails straight across to prevent ingrown nails. Keep them clean and dry to avoid fungus. If your feet smell, use foot powder or change socks more often.
Good grooming includes your nails. Donβt overlook the details.
