# Fragrance selection

Smelling good matters. It makes you more attractive, leaves a good impression, and shows you take care of yourself. But picking the right fragrance — and wearing it the right way — is key.

### T**ypes of Fragrances**

Not all colognes smell the same. Some work better for daytime, others for nights out.

**Citrus & Fresh** – best for **daytime, warm weather, office settings.** Clean and light. (*Good for beginners.*)\
**Woody & Spicy** – best for **cold weather, nights out, and formal events.** Masculine and deep.\
**Sweet & Fruity** – best for **dates, social events, and casual wear.** Warm and inviting.\
**Green & Floral** – best for **spring, relaxed environments, or unique personal style.** Light and natural.

You don't need to be good in fragrance selection. Just learn the basics and ask an expert in the store to find something good for you. I recommend to get one fresh scent for daily use and one deeper scent for nights.

### H**ow to Apply It Properly**

Too much cologne is just as bad as smelling bad. Here’s how to do it right:

<figure><img src="https://1282115917-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FoDDwU9V4FTnO3JUJnhzy%2Fuploads%2F2WccOwdXGT0F7tc9eH9C%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=cacd98bc-f25c-4ad6-bf2e-a6268b689a58" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

✔ **Spray on pulse points** – wrists, neck, and behind your ears.\
✔ **2-4 sprays max** – too much is overpowering.\
✔ **Don’t rub it in** – it ruins the scent.\
✔ **Apply after a shower** – it sticks better to clean skin.

❌ **Don’t spray directly on clothes** — fragrance lasts longer on skin.

### F**inding the Right Scent**

As I said before, you don't have to be good in fragrance selection to smell good. But if you are interested in this topic and want to learn more, I recommend you watching this video:

Go to a store, spray 3-5 scents on your skin, and see what you like after an hour. Or simply let the consultants do their job.

**Smell good. People notice.**
