Fitting guidelines

You can have the best clothes, but if they donโ€™t fit right, youโ€™ll still look bad. Proper fit makes you look sharper, taller, and more confident.

Hereโ€™s how your clothes should fit for the best look.

1. Shirts & T-Shirts

โœ” Shoulders: Seams should sit exactly where your shoulders end. โœ” Sleeves: Shouldnโ€™t be too loose or too tight โ€” just fitted around your arms. โœ” Length: Should cover your belt but not go past your crotch. โœ” Fit: Slim but not skin-tight. You should be able to move comfortably.

โŒ Too big? You look sloppy. Too tight? You look squeezed.

2. Pants & Jeans

โœ” Waist: Should sit snugly without a belt. No excess fabric bunching up. โœ” Leg Fit: Slim or straight-leg works best. Skinny jeans are risky unless youโ€™re lean. โœ” Length: Should lightly touch the top of your shoes โ€” no stacking or dragging.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Get your pants tailored if theyโ€™re too long. Itโ€™s cheap and makes a big difference.

3. Jackets & Blazers

โœ” Shoulders: Should fit perfectly โ€” too big makes you look sloppy. โœ” Sleeves: Should end at your wrist, showing a little bit of your shirt cuff. โœ” Length: Should cover your belt but not go far past it.

โŒ If the shoulders are off, donโ€™t buy it. Tailors can fix a lot, but not bad shoulders.

4. Shoes

โœ” Snug but comfortable โ€” your feet shouldnโ€™t slide inside. โœ” Avoid overly bulky shoes โ€” they make your feet look too big.

โŒ If they crease too much when you walk, theyโ€™re too big.

5. General Fit Rules

โœ” Clothes should skim your body, not squeeze it. โœ” If something fits almost perfectly, get it tailored. โœ” Always try on clothes before buying โ€” sizes vary between brands.

Good fit makes cheap clothes look expensive. Avoid baggy, oversized, or overly tight clothing. If something doesnโ€™t fit right, fix it or donโ€™t wear it.
